TiEcon Kerala 2023: Unleashing Innovation and Entrepreneurship 

The twelfth edition of TiEcon Kerala 2023 kicked off with tremendous enthusiasm at the Le Meridien Convention Centre in Kochi on Saturday. This two-day extravaganza, orchestrated by the Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Kerala Chapter, emerged as the state’s largest entrepreneurship conference, drawing over a thousand delegates, including more than 40 global speakers and 50+ prominent investors and fund houses.

Under the captivating theme “Driving the Change – Unlocking Potential,” the conference aimed to delve into the transformative possibilities within key sectors: Agriculture, Education, Assisted Living, Health and Wellness, and Research and Development. It provided an unparalleled platform for industry leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and policymakers to converge, share insights, and explore avenues for positive change.

As a proud sponsor, Kerala Medical Technology Consortium (KMTC) showcased its commitment to innovation by featuring a booth dedicated to the MedTech Ecosystem. This exemplified KMTC’s dedication to advancing healthcare through technology.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Shri. APM Mohammed Hanish, IAS, who, as the Guest of Honour, urged attendees to shift from “employee” to “innovator,” emphasizing the power of creativity to bridge the gap between ideas and action. Suchitra Ella, MD of Bharat Biotech and Chief Guest, lauded TiEcon’s pivotal role in empowering the entrepreneurial ecosystem, underscoring the transformative impact of effective technology in healthcare.

The inaugural function witnessed the release of the book “BEYOND THREE GENERATIONS,” unlocking the blueprint for family business longevity. Esteemed entrepreneurs Navas Meeran, Firoz Meeran, George Skaria, and MSA Kumar unveiled this invaluable resource. The ceremony was followed by the prestigious TiE Kerala Awards, Mr. C Padmakumar, Special Officer of Kerala Medical Technology Consortium, presenting awards. Ms. Kripa Ananthan, Head of Design at Ola Electric, was recognized for her outstanding contributions.

The second day facilitated knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration, featuring programs like the Kerala Angel Network Investor Meet, TiE U Programme, TiE Women Programme, TiE Young Entrepreneurs Programme, and Capital Café.
