With over 5,300 exhibitors from almost 70 countries and 83,000 visitors, MEDICA in Düsseldorf is one of the largest medical B2B trade fairs in the world. A wide range of innovative products and services from the fields of medical imaging, laboratory technology, diagnostics, health IT, mobile health as well as physiotherapy/orthopaedic technology and medical consumables are presented here. The theme of Medica 2023 was Where Healthcare is Going. 

From 13 to 16 November, the 5,372 exhibiting companies at MEDICA 2023 and their 735 counterparts at COMPAMED 2023 offered a total of 83,000 healthcare professionals (up from 81,000 in 2022) impressive proof that they know how to realise modern health care in doctors’ offices as well as clinics – from the supply of high-tech components to high-performance consumer products.

A Successful event Jointly organised by the Industries Department and KMTC Where Kerala state MedTech booth was of reasonable size and distinctive design and good location and it attracted significant attention and quality visitors. The objectives for the event were achieved almost fully and KMTC has been able to generate strong leads for business. The eight companies who participated along with the Kerala state delegation appeared to them benefitted from the exposure and participation at Medica. The presence of the Principal Secretary (Industries & Norka) Gok, Mr. Suman Billa IAS was a significant morale booster for the team and the participating companies. His presence also added weight to the discussions and interactions with agencies and various Government and Trade Associations. KMTC Team had interactions with 107 individuals from 36 countries and 86 companies.
