The Digital University of Kerala (DUK) is a non-affiliating research and post-graduate teaching university in Kerala, India. It was established in 2020 by the Government of Kerala by upgrading the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Kerala (IIITM-K). DUK has three schools: the School of Computer Science and Engineering, the School of Digital Humanities and Liberal Arts, and the School of Electronic Systems and Automation. The university offers PhD and master’s degree programs in a variety of areas, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, data science, and digital humanities. DUK also has a number of research centers and labs, including the Kerala Blockchain Academy, the C V Raman Laboratory, the Maker Village, and the Cisco thingqbator. These centers and labs conduct research in cutting-edge areas of digital technology, such as blockchain, quantum computing, and artificial intelligence.DUK is committed to research and innovation in digital technologies. The university aims to train the next generation of digital leaders and to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy in Kerala.
